Chapelthorpe mulls Gyllenhammar's takeover offer

SPECIALIST fibre manufacturer Chapelthorpe today said it was still considering its response to a takeover offer from Swedish investor Peter Gyllenhammar.
Last week Mr Gyllenhammar, who has built up stakes in a series of Yorkshire companies he believes are undervalued, tabled an offer to buy Drighlington group Chapelthorpe in a deal valuing it at £5.1m.
Bronsstadet, the investment company owned by Mr Gyllenhammar, announced it had bought almost a quarter of the shares in Chapelthorpe to add to its existing stake......for the full story register now for free or login below...
