Victoria Molyneux, founder of WantThatTrend.com is the ultimate ‘selfie-made’ business woman.
The 29-year-old Cheshire-based entrepreneur set up her own women’s clothing line from her bedroom in April 2015 with an initial investment of just £1,000.
As the Stockport company celebrates two years in business, it has grown from being a one-woman operation to a team of 30 staff.
It has a turnover of more than £7m and has amassed a social media community of around 1.5m dedicated fans.
Despite the rapid growth, Victoria still finds time to model all of the company’s clothes, posting selfies of what the dresses look like in ‘real life’ on social media – a strategy that has proven to be a point of difference and a major driver of sales.
TheBusinessDesk.com editor Joanne Birtwistle will be speaking with Victoria, last year’s winner of the Newcomer Award at our Business Masters Awards, about the company’s rapid rise, what makes WantThatTrend different to other fashion brands, and her exciting plans for future growth.
