Award winning businesswoman Rachel Clacher will be speaking at a BusinessDesk.com next month.

Rachel founded communications and business support firm Moneypenny with her brother Ed Reeves almost 20 years ago.

The company has grown into a world leader in its field and is now looking to conquer the American market. Moneypenny is also recognised as one of the best to work for in the North West and now employs more than 700 people at its offices in Wrexham.

As well as launching and growing one of the region’s most successful businesses Rachel set up  the WeMindTheGap charity. The charity works to give opportunities in life and work to unemployed under-served young people through providing totally holistic paid traineeships. The charity recently received a £1.2 million bid from the Big Lottery meaning that it will be delivering 16 traineeships across Wales and the North West by 2023.

As a result of her charity work Rachel received a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Rachel will be talking about her ethos and principles and how she used them to create a successful business and pioneering charity.
