The Liverpool Loves festival returns to the city this weekend! Celebrate Liverpool’s culture, food and wellbeing with a whole range for you and the whole gang to enjoy. There will be live entertainment and performances on Saturday at the Pier Head, including a set from local successful band The Hummingbirds. MediaCityUK is the place to be this weekend! The venue has been confirmed as an Offical Team GB FanZone and will be the best place to catch all the action from Rio 2016 Olympic Games. There will be a large screen in the piazza which will be showing live coverage from the Olympics from Friday 5th August until Sunday 21st August. Murder on the Terrace
The excellent Open Air Theatre returns to Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston on Saturday with a production of an interactive murder-mystery play ‘Murder on the Terrace’. The play, which is from Heartbreak Productions, is a gripping story of Lord Cava’s garden party which gets thrown into disarray after his nephew is found dead. Who will be the killer?
