THE hunt is on to find the Outstanding Business Women of the Year from the cream of North West and Isle of Man businesswomen.

And the first sponsor of the North West Women in Business Awards is Women in Property, which will sponsor the "Property Industry Woman of the Year" category.

The awards and lunch have been created as a result of demand from the members of Forward Ladies - a women's business support community which has a database of more than 12,000 professional women across the north of England.

Lisa Raynes, Chairman of Women in Property, said: "We are delighted to be working with Forward Ladies and the inaugural North West Women in Business Awards, with winners being announced at a prestigious awards lunch and ceremony on 23 September at the Midland Hotel, Manchester. We are proud to be sponsoring the Property Industry Woman of the Year category."

Professional women from all walks of life are invited to enter the awards by either nominating themselves, or by getting a friend or colleague to nominate them. A 500-word award entry is required, along with a 50 word biography, high quality photograph and supporting documentation.
