CHESHIRE travel giant Holidaybreak has appointed John Coleman as chairman.

Mr Coleman, who was previously chief executive of House of Fraser until 2006, will initially join as a non-executive director, and then assume the Chairmanship when Bob Ayling retires on May 1.

Holidaybreak chief executive Carl Michel said: “We are delighted that John has joined Holidaybreak. With his excellent corporate track record and strong reputation in the City, he will be an invaluable addition to the board.”
