JMW hires Tranter as employment head
LAW firm JMW Solicitors has appointed Ian Tranter as a partner and head of of employment.
The move reunites Mr Tranter – who was most recently at Manchester rival Pannone – with JMW senior partner Joy Kingsley, who moved from Pannone to JMW last September.
Mr Tranter advises on a range of employment matters but his specialises in corporate restructures, Tupe, reorganisations, executive terminations, and disciplinary and dismissal issues.
Clients include Umbro, Amaze, North West Employers’ Association, Wilman Universal and Grant Management UK.
He said: “I am looking forward to heading up our employment department and the challenge of helping to grow the team further. I am also very pleased to be joining Joy at JMW as I have always had complete faith in her talents to grow and manage a business.”
