Clarke Willmott boosts city presence

LAW firm Clarke Willmott has appointed its second key partner in its new Manchester office.

The national firm, which opened at 3 Hardman Street, Spinningfields on November 1 last year, has again raided JMW for its second hire.

Having already lured IP expert Roy Crozier and associate Andrew Stone, Lindsey Bell, JWM’s former head of employment has joined the Bristol, Taunton, Southampton London and Birmingham-based practice. Also joining Clarke Willmott is Lindsey Bell’s assistant Georgena Clarke.

Stephen Rosser, chief executive says “We are pleased to be in a position to have expanded our Manchester offering so quickly. Lindsey is a great addition and we are delighted to have her and Georgena on board.

“Our expansion plans for Manchester are based on attracting the right talent and strategic fit”.

Lindsey Bell added:  “I am excited about the opportunities that joining Clarke Willmott presents.  Clarke Willmott’s national presence, ambitious plans and dynamic sector approach make them an attractive firm to be part of.”

Ms Bell and  specialise in contentious and non-contentious respondent work, mainly for Plcs and SMEs.
