MANCHESTER City Football Club has strengthened its ties with the Middle East with a major new sponsorship deal with Abu Dhabi airline Etihad Airways.

The Premiership club, owned since last year by Sheikh Mansour, a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family , unveiled the three-year partnership at the City of Manchester Stadium ahead of the last game of the season onSunday.
