Heathcotes wins catering for Manchester International Festival

HEATHCOTES Outside, the event catering company, has won the contract to supply catering at the 2009 Manchester International Festival Pavilion.

The Festival Pavilion, which will be set in the city’s Albert Square from July 3 to 19, has been designed by Manchester architects Stephenson Bell to be meeting place by day and a venue for local and international DJs by night.

Heathcotes Outside chefs will provide a specially designed menu of meals, drinks and snacks, using regional and seasonal produce.

Christine Cort, associate director at Manchester International Festival, said: “We were impressed with Heathcotes Outside’s vision, creativity and enthusiasm when we discussed our ambitions for the Pavilion site with them. The menu they have devised is deliciously simple, reasonably priced and locally sourced.”

Entry to the Pavilion is free to all visitors and will be open from 11am, every day of the festival, for food and drink.
