Appointment: Double promotion at Stephensons

NORTH West law firm Stephensons Solicitors has promoted Judith Thomas-Whittingham and Donna Roberts from associate to partnership level.

Ms Thomas-Whittingham, partner in the clinical negligence department in Leigh, represents clients who have suffered at the hands of medical professionals.

She has been involved with developing the firm’s use of Conditional Fee Arrangements to enable more clients to gain access to justice .

Ms Roberts, a child care solicitor based at Stephensons’ Manchester office, represents children, parents and local authorities dealing with all aspects of child law.

After qualifying as a solicitor, Ms Roberts worked for Greater Manchester Police and later was appointed as a legal representative for Salford City Council in Children Act and mental health cases.Donna Roberts

Four members of staff were also promoted to associate. The new associates are criminal law solicitors Craige Parkinson and Andrea Woods, child care solicitor Paul Webb and personal injury executive Rebecca Dawber. “
