Liverpool Indigo brings in £300,000 pre-opening

LIVERPOOL-based hotels company Sanguine Hospitality said that it has already achieved £300,000 worth of  bookings for its new hotel on Chapel Street prior to its opening in June.

The company said that the 151-bed hotel has benefited from bookings around a couple of major events in the city such as the Labour Party Conference planned for September.

David Hughes, general manager at Hotel Indigo Liverpool, said: “Major events in the city are helping to drive midweek bookings, for example high profile concerts such as Katy Perry at the arena.

“These, coupled with our confidence in the level of service and product on offer means that occupancy is already looking buoyant four months before we have even opened.”

Sanguine Hospitality has a license agreement with Intercontinental Hotel Group

Sanguine Hospitality Ltd has entered into a licensed agreement with Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) to own and operate Hotel Indigo Liverpool, which is a boutique brand being developed by IHG to reflect the surroundings of the cities in which they are housed.

Sanguine also recently agreed a deal with the Co-operative Group to build a new 141-bed Hotel Indigo in Manchester on the site of the City Buildings near Victoria station.
