Co-op's city centre fight

CONVENIENCE-store operator The Co-operative is launching a fightback against Sainsbury and Tesco with the launch of its third outlet in Manchester city centre.Rival Sainsbury has six city centre shops and Tesco four, showing the importance to retailers of having a presence on the high street as well as out of town.
