Enterprise agrees maintenance deal with Severn Trent

SUPPORT services group Enterprise has won a new contract from Severn Trent Water to repair and maintain its clean water network.

The contract has an annual revenue value of around £30m and will run for the next two years.

In a statement the Preston-based group said the work will involve all aspects of network maintenance, including leakage detection.

Dan Holland, managing director of Enterprise’s utilities division, said: “This contract award represents another milestone in our relationship with Severn Trent Water. The contract has evolved from a traditional repair and maintenance arrangement to an integrated service offering. The award of leakage detection activity, which will operate alongside the repair function, recognises our strength in service delivery.”

Enterprise employs 13,000 staff and has sales of around £1bn. As well as working for utility companies it also handles street cleaning, grounds maintenance, contact centres contracts and repairs to social housing stock.
