North West developer Hurstwood has let two units at Three Point Business Park and The Courtyard in Rossendale.

It has completed a letting deal at The Courtyard in Haslingden with blind, curtains and soft furnishings manufacturer Easi Blinds.

The business was previously based in Ramsbottom but has moved to expand and open a showroom at its new base.

Separately, a unit at Haslingden’s Three Point Business Park has been let by Phil Clavering – who is expanding his maintenance company and also launching a new marketing business.

He said: “I was previously based at home but I needed more space and Three Point was exactly what I was looking for. I’ve also just set up a new business – promoting organisations such as the NHS through billboard advertising on vehicles, and this is the ideal location to start from.”

Mark Carling, head of commercial sales and lettings at Hurstwood, said: “These two new deals bring improved prospects for the area and could create much needed jobs for local people. We are delighted to have completed so many deals in recent weeks, particularly here in Rossendale as we have our roots in the area. We are currently completing around 10 new lettings a month.”
