ADMINISTRATORS handling Sandcity, the surf-wear division of Blacks Leisure, have failed to find a buyer for its two Manchester shops.

An outlet at the Triangle shopping centre in the city and one at the Trafford Centre have been closed along with four stores in Birmingham, Glasgow, Milton Keynes and Kent with the loss of 67 jobs.

The retailer O'Neill has taken over four Sandcity stores in Leeds, Sheffield, Bristol and Brighton saving 35 jobs. A store in York has been taken on by Paperchase.
