Earnings rise at William Hare

STRUCTURAL steel group William Hare has continued to push turnover and earnings despite the slowdown in the construction industry.
According to accounts filed by the Bury-based group pre-tax profits rose 9% to £10.7m in 2008 on group turnover of £213m, up 17%. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation increased by 7.1% to £15.1m.
