United owners "mull £600m bond issue"

MANCHESTER United's American owners are reportedly considering a £600m bond issue in a move to tackle the club's debt pile.The reclusive Glazer family, which borrowed heavily to buy the club for £790m in 2005, have asked two investment banks to look at ways of easing the situation.JP Morgan, the US bank that engineered the original Glazer takeover, and Deutsche Bank, have been working on options to improve the club’s financial situation, the Sunday Times said.The newspaper said that in the past few weeks, advisers......for the full story register now for free or login below...
