Head along to the Palm House in Liverpool’s Sefton Park on Sunday to celebrate St George’s Day. The day is set to be fun for all the family to enjoy, with live music and entertainment, fun to get involved with and plenty of surprises in store. Man of the moment Ed Sheeran is bringing his highly-anticipated tour to Manchester Arena this weekend. The Suffolk born performer is spending both Saturday and Sunday night at the arena and fans can expect to hear his latest hit singles, including Shape Of You, Castle On The Hill and Galway Girl, alongside his classics like Sing, The A Team and Thinking Out Loud. The popular David Walliams story Gangsta Granny is set to take to the stage at Liverpool Empire Theatre this weekend. The story follows Ben, who is assuming his Friday night with Granny will be all about cabbage and very boring. Opening Celebration Concert at The Stoller Hall
The Stoller Hall in Manchester is being officially opened on Sunday afternoon. The celebration concert will feature conductors Sir Mark Elder and Stephen Threlfall, soloists Paul Lewis and Kitty Whately, as well as a whole host of musicians in two orchestras.
