Cheshire firm celebrates £8bn record year with move to new premises

First Capital Cashflow offices in Daresbury

First Capital Cashflow has expanded to a new headquarters and created eight new jobs following a record breaking financial year, processing £8bn of direct debit and direct credit transactions for clients last year.

The fast-growing firm has doubled the size of its offices, moving into a new site in Daresbury from former base near Northwich, after a period of sustained growth.

The £8bn of transactions is the largest amount in the businesses 15-year history.

Transactions include a one-off transaction of £1bn, processed in an emergency situation on behalf of a public-sector body.

Conrad Broadbent, managing director of First Capital Cashflow, said: “The business has gone from strength to strength over the past 15 years.

Our high standards of service mean the majority of our clients have remained loyal to us, with six of our original 10 clients still using us to process their Direct Debits. Over the last few years we’ve also enjoyed a marked increase in the numbers of new clients choosing to process their collections with us.

“This rapid growth meant we became too large for our existing office space. It seemed like the perfect time to purchase our own premise, giving us a solid platform for further growth.

“We’re already taking advantage of this, with recent appointments to our Development, Sales and Client Services teams.”

The business now boasts a 20-strong team.
