Tristan Herbert has joined Cheshire-based Select Property Group as a senior development manager.

The former associate at Arcadis had previous been involved in several large projects, including the RHS Garden Bridgewater in Worsley, the development of Liverpool One for Grosvenor and in excess of 1m sq ft of development for Asda.

His current role will see Tristan lead the project team to ensure the delivery of developments from acquisition through to handover to the operations team.

Manchester-based creative marketing agency Purple Riot is expanding its team with the addition of Jude Turner as partner and head of digital.

The company has recently moved from its Northern Quarter to new offices in Albert Square and hopes to continue expansion.

Purple Riot managing director, Nikki Kitchen, said: “It has been a great first quarter for 2017 and Jude is a fantastic addition to the team.

“We are already known for our marketing, events and PR expertise but now we have the capacity to really develop the digital side of the business to meet with client demands.”

Cheshire law firm SAS Daniels has announced Jeremy Orrell as its new managing partner.

The appointment has been made to support the firm’s plans for growth across its four offices in Stockport, Macclesfield, Chester and Congleton.

Orrell joined SAS Daniels in 2009 to head up its corporate team and then became the firm’s finance partner in 2013.

Orrell said: “It is a great honour to be appointed as the firm’s Managing Partner during such an exciting time for us.

“We continue to attract outstanding legal talent to the firm and as a result have an incredibly strong and growing client base, who value our results driven approach to service delivery.

Land and property company HIMOR, based in Trafford, Greater Manchester has announced a duo of internal promotions and three new staff additions.

Mark Booth has been promoted to finance director and Paul Wrigglesworth to property director.

Matt Hatchard has joined as estates surveyor from Assura, having previously worked at Cushman and Wakefield, while Liz Percival, previously at David Wilson Homes, will join as graduate in the land and property team.

They will be joined by Andrew Bain, who departs Kier to become project director designate.

The changes follow Trafford councils approval of the first section of HIMOR’s Future Carrington project, planned to be one of the largest regeneration projects in Greater Manchester.

Carole Nash Insurance has appointed Hein Kuiper to the newly created board role of chief digital officer.

The company, based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, has looked to Kuiper because of his almost 20 years of involvement in the digital field.
Kuiper said: “I’m really excited to be joining Carole Nash Insurance. The brand already delivers market leading propositions and I look forward to developing our digital capabilities to enhance the experience of our customers.

“I hope to bring my experience of optimising user experience in other businesses to Carole Nash and deliver improvements that have a demonstrable impact to the business’ bottom line.”

Equity and debt capital provider Beechbrook Capital is its first regional office in Spinningfields, Manchester which will be run by investment director Matt Kenny.

Kenny joined Beechbrook in April and his previous roles include three years as an investment director with LDC, originating and mid-market private equity investments, and more than six years in financial services advisory work with, first, Ernst & Young, and then Lloyds Banking Group.

Jon Herbert, Beechbrook managing director in charge of the firm’s UK SME Credit fund, said: “The opening of our Manchester office demonstrates the importance we attach to maintaining close and enduring relationships with SMEs and advisers across the north of England.

Emirates Old Trafford is expanding its conference and events team with the addition of Louise Milne and Dan Whitehead as business development support and business development manager respectively.

Milne, is an events management graduate with experience of working at The Village Hotel Club, Newcastle, and Whitehead, with 13 years of experience has been events manager at Uttoxeter Racecourse for the last six years.

Angela Hodson, head of conference and events at Emirates Old Trafford said: “We are all incredibly excited to welcome Louise and Dan to our fantastic team.
