Beauty manufacturer enjoys another year of growth

Joy Parkinson, managing director, Faith in Nature

Faith in Nature, the natural beauty products manufacturer, is to see yet another year of double digit growth.

Sales at the Bury-based company are on target to grow by 20% to £5m in the year to July 2017, on the back of growth in core markets and successful new listings with Booths, Holland & Barrett and Superdrug.

Export sales also continued to grow and now account for a quarter of all turnover.

Faith exports to 38 countries and a new deal with Dutch retail giant, Ahold, in the US has been significant for the brand.

Managing director Joy Parkinson said: “We have doubled the size of the business over the last five years by extending our retail distribution. Our export business continues to grow year on year as we secure new territories.

“We are constantly listening to our customers and looking for areas where we can innovate. Our new product development programme continues apace and has led to the introduction of range extensions and new ranges.

“Highlights last year included our stunning new Brave Botanicals haircare range which includes variants such as Kiwi & Lime and Coconut & Frangipani. The range is already demonstrating its appeal with strong sales in the multiples.”

The company was founded in 1974 by natural health pioneer Rivka Rose. Products include beauty and skin care ranges and a household cleaning range, which use ingredients that are vegetable based and animal-cruelty free.
