Property developer on hunt for 50 recruits after strong first half

Andrew Cordwell, Beech Design & Build managing director

Manchester property developer Beech Holdings has created 50 vacancies in its design and build division, which will see the company’s headcount rise to 160 across the firm’s portfolio of businesses.

Andrew Cordwell, managing director of Beech Design & Build, said: “2017 has already been a successful year for us and should be even more incredible with the design and construction of more environmentally sustainable and efficiently designed apartments. These will be available for rent all over the city centre, with exclusive ultra-modern smart technologies also being introduced.”

Beech Design & Build, which recently rebranded from Beech Construction, has in-house teams in architecture, surveying and engineering through to project management, interior design and on-site build teams.

“In terms of expansion, the numbers speak for themselves, as of January 2017, Beech employed 95 full time staff. As of today, we now employ 123 talented individuals, looking to reach around 170 by the end of 2017, says Cordwell.

Beech Group, which encompasses Beech Holdings, Manchester Apartments, Beech Design & Build and Beech Properties, has a predicted turnover in the next 12 months of £30m.
