Global reservation provider parks up at new city centre HQ

Manchester-based online parking reservation business ParkCloud has relocated its head office operations to the city centre as it looks to expand its portfolio of car park operators.

The reservation provider has taken space at Peter House on Oxford Street, which it says will allow scope for its current team to grow.

Prior to its move into the city, ParkCloud operated from the Stockport Express newspaper’s former premises in Wood Street.

ParkCloud was founded in 2008 in response to consumers’ growing appetite for finding cost effective deals online – which included parking.

With an aim to connect the world’s drivers with convenient parking spaces, ParkCloud now operates across 41 countries and accommodates more than 20 languages.

ParkCloud’s managing director Mark Pegler said: “This move reinforces our objective to strengthen the structure of the business in order to offer an enhanced service for our clients who use our 1,800 listed car parks across the globe.

“Not only does Manchester offer our wider team increased flexibility and opportunities, it also places us in the centre of the North’s digital hub – something we’re sure will ultimately inspire creativity and drivers for growth.”

ParkCloud’s portfolio of car park operators includes NCP, Manchester Airport and Q-Park.
