Class act at The Chancery

Advisory firm Korn Ferry has doubled its office space at The Chancery in Manchester’s central business district.

Korn Ferry’s expansion follows a £1.2m investment by owners Rockspring completing a substantial refurbishment of the Grade II-listed building.

Refurbishment work encompassed the wholesale transformation of the main entrance and reception fronting Spring Gardens which was designed by Architect Fletcher Crane.

Work extended to all communal areas and vacant office accommodation providing a contemporary Grade A finish.

Substantial investment was also made to the heating, cooling and ventilation system resulting in lower running costs and an improved service for occupiers.

The refurbishment was overseen by Knight Frank’s project and building consultancy team after Knight Frank acquired the landmark building for Rockspring in 2016.

Following completion of the refurbishment The Chancery has now been re-launched to the Manchester office market with Knight Frank and OBI acting as joint letting agents.

Matt Shufflebottom from Knight Frank said: “Korn Ferry’s decision to expand at The Chancery is testament to the quality of the refurbishment which is now complete.

“This is a prestigious address, a great location for staff and now we have the quality of product required to attract new occupiers into the building.”
