Tata chooses Aztec for £250,000 delivery centre fit-out

Liverpool-based fit-out and construction firm, Aztec, has completed the £250,000 fit-out of Tata Consultancy Services’ (TCS) new North West delivery centre at Birchwood Park near Warrington.

Aztec delivered the 5,000sq ft project within 10 weeks, which included a complex and intensive data installation schedule.

Aztec is an experienced fit-out and construction company, delivering projects ranging from small works and minor alterations to multi million pound ‘turnkey’ projects.

TCS is part of the Tata Group, providing consulting, IT services, technology and digital solutions, and is operational in 46 countries.

Neal Maxwell, founder and sales director at Aztec, said: “Birchwood Park provides an ideal base for TCS.

“I’m pleased we were able to assist with its search for the right space. The Aztec team worked around the clock to complete what was an incredibly complex data installation schedule, while designing and delivering a comfortable environment for the TCS team.

“Our 30 years’ experience also allowed us to advise on more general issues relating to its new premises, including UK lease agreements and license of alteration applications, working with the wider project team to avoid pitfalls with the potential to develop into unnecessary project hurdles. It’s great to see the delivery centre complete, and we hope to work with Tata Group again in the future as it continues to grow its presence in the region.”

The project follows Aztec’s recent completion of the £1m Avenue HQ fit-out at Liverpool’s Mann Island, delivered in partnership with Day Architecture.
