Plastic fantastic for polythene packaging maker
Manchester-based polythene packaging manufacturer and distributor Duo UK has been appointed by three major fashion labels to provide all e-commerce and returns packaging.
Major online retailers, Pink Boutique and Pretty Lavish and brand new international designer, TAYLRD Clothing have chosen Duo UK to manufacturer and supply their packaging, off the back of the firm’s credentials with some of the world’s most successful fashion e-tailers.
The firm, which employs more than 100 people at its 70,000 sq ft factory on Vickers Street, will manufacture branded polythene mailing bags for Pink Boutique designed in the retailer’s signature pink and gold colour way.
TAYLRD clothing is a brand new international clothing brand specialising in versatile tailored suit pieces that can be worn from desk to dinner, or boardroom to bar. Duo UK will manufacture all branded packaging for the brand’s mail order customers.
Pretty Lavish, which is one of the UK’s fastest growing fashion e-tailers, has also appointed Duo UK to produce all its branded outbound mailing bags to ship customers garments internationally.
Duo UK has 29 years of experience producing postal packaging solutions for some of the world’s most well-known online e-tailers.

Duo UK is also the first and only UK manufacturer to produce mailing bags using GreenPE, a polythene that uses sugarcane, rather than oil, as its base substance and is carbon neutral as well as 100% sustainable.
