£45m group’s interiors arm launches 4,000 sq ft studio

A North West interiors specialist, part of the £45m turnover Southerns Group, is expanding its footprint with the launch of a 4,000 sq ft studio and showroom in Leeds.

Ralph Capper Interiors is setting up its Yorkshire base at the Green Sand Foundry, a heritage building in Holbeck Urban Village.

Director Emma Bennett said: “My team and I have been delivering projects for an increasing number of Leeds-based clients so it made excellent business sense to introduce a physical base here in order to expand our offering, and as a result be much more accessible for our Yorkshire clients.”

Ralph Capper Interiors works with architects and designers to deliver schemes in the leisure, education, hospitality and corporate sectors.

Recent Ralph Capper Interiors projects in the region include the soon to be completed fit-out of the Central Square building, as well as working with Leeds United Football Club.

“We have a comprehensive portfolio of ongoing work in the city, and now that we will be on our clients’ doorsteps, we believe our specialist services will be even more in demand,” added Bennett.

“And we are delighted to be launching here at a time when Leeds has identified creative industries as a key growth sector and when there are so many exciting developments taking place in the South Bank.

“Green Sand Foundry is a truly beautiful building, a perfect backdrop for our extensive collection of pieces, and we will be encouraging potential clients to drop in and view them whenever they’re in the area.”

Southerns Group, a £45m employs around 250 staff in Leeds, Bolton, Macclesfield, Manchester and London.
