Law firm drafts in real estate specialist Krista

Krista Powell has joined the real estate team at law firm Fieldfisher in its Manchester office as a partner.

Powell is a former partner and head of real estate – a department which she set up – at Freeman Fisher. Prior to that she was at Addleshaw Goddard.

She has broad commercial property experience including investment and occupier acquisitions and disposals, development work and landlord and tenant matters.

Ian Austin, managing partner Manchester, said: “We have ambitious plans to grow our Manchester base with the region continuing to attract investment from UK and international companies.”

Powell said: “Fieldfisher is one of the fastest growing UK firms and our focus for the next 12 months is to build on our already impressive client base and to continue to strengthen the real estate division.”
