Global co-living firm launching new brand in Manchester

Manchester

The world’s largest co-living provider Medici Living Group has unveiled plans to launch its new brand QUARTERS in Manchester and London.

The company will also open its first QUARTERS house by 2018.

“We see great potential for our co-living brand QUARTERS in UK’s major cities,” said Medici founder and chief executive Gunther Schmidt.

“Therefore, we are negotiating with various partners multiple locations between 20.000 and 160,000sq ft in London and Manchester and we look forward to launch our first QUARTERS-building in the UK.

“We are planning on opening several thousand units over the next years in UK Tier 1 cities.”

Medici Living Group is planning a global network with QUARTERS.

The co-living-brand launched in the US and Germany with co-living-houses in New York and Berlin in spring 2017.

The concept provides a home for an “international community of creative spirits, young entrepreneurs and digital nomads”.

The company’s portfolio comprises more than 1,200 co-living units worldwide with 96% occupancy on average.

All living units are leased on long-term lettings. The company was founded in 2012 by Schmidt, and his co-founders and managing directors, Robert Gmeiner and Ferdinand von Fumetti.
