Champagne corks popping at city centre law firm

The private client team at the Manchester office of Mills & Reeve has topped the rankings in a prestigious legal guide of lawyers advising high net worth clients in the private wealth market.

In the inaugural Chambers High Net Worth Guide, the private client team was ranked in Band 1 in the Manchester area where it was praised for its “depth and breadth of knowledge”.

Partner Tony Hall, is the only lawyer in Manchester to be ranked in Band 1 where he is described by one source as “the best trust lawyer I have ever met in my career’ and ‘an excellent communicator with precise attention to detail”.

Meanwhile, fellow partner and team head Deborah Clark and partner Zahra Siddiqui were ranked in Band 2. Clark was described as “very client focused” with “good technical skills” while Zahra was hailed as “excellent” and an “absolute star”.
