Marsh leaves UKFast to go it alone

Chris Marsh

High profile tech and digital sector specialist Chris Marsh is striking out on his own with a new brand builder agency.

Marsh has left his role as director of partner development at datacentre company UKFast to set up Agents Of, a brand ambassador agency.

At UKFast he was responsible for developing partnerships with clients, suppliers and other local and national influential organisations.

In his new venture, Marsh will support his clients’ growth strategies with introductions and commercial opportunities from the networks he has built up over his career – his Twitter feed @Marsh80 has more than 23,000 followers.

Marsh said: “Thanks to my time at UKFast and my non-executive and education activities, I have acute insights into the issues and challenges facing the tech and digital sector in Manchester and the North West.

“You could say I’m pretty well-connected, and there are not many Manchester businesses and people I don’t know in these fields.”

The client list of Agents Of includes: app developer Apadmi, software developers WebAntic, digital marketing agency Cube3, e-commerce agency Space 48, creative communications agency SKV, broadband provider Telcom, web technology agency JB Cole and growth agency Six and Flow.

He added: “My career to date has all been about building relationships and with Agents Of, I’ll be a brand ambassador for my clients, brokering relationships for them with new commercial partners.

“The Agents Of businesses are all strong players in their fields and looking to grow. I’ll be helping to build their brands exclusively within their specialism.

“They are all non-competing and there is great potential for them to collaborate on new client projects.”

Marsh’s non-executive roles include being a council member of Manchester Digital, the trade association for the North West digital sector, and with the charity Forever Manchester.
