Dental firm extracts six-figure bank funding for expansion

A dental practice in East Lancashire has expanded thanks to a six-figure loan from its bank.

Oakland Family Dental Practice in Nelson has been able to buy an adjacent property, resulting in more services for its patients.

Dentist Dr Phil Eccles took over the practice in 2014 and he says his staff have worked hard to transform the surgery into a modern, friendly and patient-centred environment.

Eccles said: “Barclays has been fantastic in supporting our future vision for Oakland.

“They demonstrated a clear understanding of the challenges faced by many small healthcare practices and our relationship manager guided us smoothly through the transitionary process always being there to help and support with any challenges and complexities along the way.”
