Junkyard Golf tees up space at trading estate

Harp Trading Estate

The owner of Junkyard Golf has rented three units totalling more than 11,000sq ft at Trafford Park’s Harp Trading Estate in Greater Manchester

Junkyard owner Golf Eats Booze and The Liars Club have taken two units of 3,900sq ft at the scheme on five-year leases.

The deal has been struck by property adviser JLL on behalf of landlord CBRE Global Investors.

Meanwhile, document management services provider ITEC Connect will establish its first northern depot after taking a 2,978sq ft unit at the park.

The new site will work alongside the company’s existing bases in London and Bristol.

The deals mean the 20-unit trading estate, off Guinness Road, is now fully occupied.

The businesses join other occupiers at the scheme including builders merchant Travis Perkins, and plumbing suppliers, Plumb Center.

Robert Kos, senior surveyor at JLL, said: “These units have been snapped up following their full refurbishment earlier this year. The success at Harp Trading Estate shows how landlords can capture the healthy demand for industrial space in Greater Manchester by upgrading their existing building stock.”

JLL and CBRE are joint agents at the scheme.
