£130m turnover Cartwright Group swoops for aircraft ground support specialist

Advised on deals worth £300m in the first half of 2017

Family-run trailer specialist Cartwright Group has acquired aircraft ground support equipment manufacturer Emtek Services in the latest step in the expansion of the Altrincham, Greater Manchester company.

Suffolk-headquartered Emtek has a 65-year pedigree of engineering excellence and innovation, and will continue to provide its expertise under new ownership, said £130m turnover company Cartwright. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Founder of Emtek, Mark Fowler, will remain with the business as technical director assisted by specialist builds development manager Oliver Shaw.
