KPMG makes 123 promotions

Grant Ashbrook and Jess Katsouris

Business advisory firm KPMG has promoted Jessica Katsouris and Grant Ashbrook to partner as part of its latest round of promotions in the North West.

Katsouris has been appointed partner in KPMG’s audit practice after building a wealth of specialist expertise in financial services over the past 19 years.

She trained at KPMG in Bristol before joining Credit Suisse in Zurich. In 2004, Katsouris returned to KPMG and joined the Financial Services team in Manchester.

Ashbrook joined KPMG in 2002 and has built more than 15 years’ experience as a transfer pricing specialist in the firm’s tax team.

During his career with KPMG, which includes experience working in China, Ashbrook has helped implement supply-chain and tax solutions for multinational companies across Europe, the US and Asia.

Katsouris and Ashbrook are joined by nine director promotions in KPMG’s Manchester office.

Helen McCourt, Elizabeth Meadowcroft and Nisha Sharma have all been promoted to director in the KPMG’s deal advisory practice.

Ryan Ballantyne, Adrian Wills and Christopher Hardman are now tax directors and Andrew Stone, Matthew Jackson and Andrew Trasler have become directors in the firm’s restructuring, advisory and management consulting practices, respectively.

Chris Martin has also re-joined KPMG as an audit director after spending five years at Grant Thornton.

In the firm’s Liverpool office, Carla Kennaugh has joined the firm as an audit director and Ian Atkinson has been promoted to director in management consulting.

Across the North West, 18 professionals have been promoted to assistant director, 41 have become managers and 52 have reached the position of assistant manager.

KPMG has also welcomed 80 new graduates, eight school leavers and 35 apprentices in the region.
