Business broker completes sale of care firm to Priory Group

Preston-based specialist business broker Redwoods Dowling Kerr Healthcare has handled the sale of Aspire Scotland to the Priory Group for an undisclosed sum.

Aspire Scotland, which is an award-winning provider of bespoke care and education services for children and young people in the UK, has been sold to the Priory, the independent provider of behavioural care in the UK.

Redwoods negotiated the sale on behalf of Aspire Scotland which provides community-based, living and learning environments based in the North West of Scotland for some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK.

Andrew Steen, Redwoods sales and marketing director, said the company drew on its specialist expertise to secure the right buyer to continue Aspire Scotland’s award-winning work and maintain its family based ethos and culture.

He said: “We are extremely pleased to announce that Aspire Scotland has been sold to the Priory Group.
