Eccleston starts on 48-home development

Eccleston Homes has started on site in Greater Manchester at its sixth development this year.

Garrett Manor in Mosley Common at Tyldesley near Wigan will take the number of homes currently under construction by the housebuilder to 74.

Located at Norton Road, Garrett Manor will be Eccleston’s largest scheme, consisting of 48 new homes.

The development’s seven house types, including two new designs, The Frodsham and Hartford, will be built in Eccleston’s signature ‘Arts and Crafts’ style.

Situated adjacent to open public land, the homes will range in size from two-bedroom mews/semi-detached homes to four-bedroom family detached properties, with the whole development due for completion in 2019.

Phase one, which is now available to reserve off plan, started on site this month, with two show homes launching in Spring 2018.

Its second development in the Wigan outpost Tyldesley, Eccleston’s St John’s Gardens, is also well underway with a majority of homes sold and occupied giving an additional development total of 36 new homes.

Garrett Manor is located in walking distance of commuter links to Manchester city centre.

Nearby Tyldesley town centre offers homeowners a range of leisure and retail amenities, several highly rated Ofsted schools, with Worsley Park and Ellesmere Golf Club within a few minutes’ drive.

Site manager, Ken Smith, said: “Together with our neighbouring development, St. John’s at Mosley Common Road, we are underway delivering over 80 homes in a highly desirable location, with excellent commuter links to Manchester, just nine miles away.”
