Glenbrook completes 1 Temple Square transformation

1 Temple Square

Property investment and development company Glenbrook has completed the refurbishment of 1 Temple Square in Liverpool city centre.

The announcement follows on from the purchase of the grade II-listed office building in June this year and the subsequent appointment of Aztec to undertake the works.

The project involved the redesign and refurbishment of the reception and common areas. Externally, the building has been repaired and redecorated ahead of the revamp of Temple Square, which is due to commence next year.

The building is currently occupied by businesses including Canter Levin Berg and Kirwans, with four remaining suites of circa 2,000 sq ft available. One of the lower ground floor suites is under offer to a trendy café operator, which is scheduled to open in the New Year.

Investment director at Glenbrook, Chris Lloyd, said: “The continual tightening of the occupational market, thanks to notable lettings at India Buildings and Exchange Station, has meant there are few high-quality schemes currently available.

“Our investment in No1 forms part of the wider, ongoing improvement of Temple Square and will help further establish the area as prime business destination for the city.”

Sean Collins-Jones from letting agents of Hitchcock Wright & Partners, joint agents for the scheme with Worthington Owen, said: “We anticipate the quality of the refurbishment will widen the appeal of the building to all sectors of occupiers from professional services to new tech companies.”

Quoting rental for the office space is £14.50 per sq ft.
