Recruitment company expands following record year

Liverpool-based recruitment specialists Dobson Welch has trebled its turnover from last year to £230,000.

The company, which is based in The Women’s Organisation in the Baltic Triangle area of the city was set up in 2015 by director Claire Welch.

Dobson Welch offers recruitment support to companies across the UK in a range of sectors including retail, legal, marketing, PR, sales, fashion, accounting and financial services and IT/telecoms.

In addition to Welch, the team now includes 4 recruitment consultants, Dominic Barclay in London and Laura Gibson, John Seaforth and Angela White in Liverpool.

Welch said: “We’ve had a very busy year which is a result of securing new clients and our existing clients.

“One area we specialise in is high volume recruitment and a couple of our retail and financial services clients have expanded quite significantly resulting in them recruiting a lot of new staff.”
