AEW promotes Savage to director

Manchester-based AEW Architects has promoted Colin Savage to join the board of directors alongside Andy Critchlow, Nigel Machin and Andy Rainford.

Savage and his six-strong specialist housing team joined AEW in May this year.

Architects currently employ 76 members of staff and work in five key sectors – accommodation, commercial, retail, industrial and sport and leisure.

The accommodation team has a number of new projects underway since the Government’s announcement of housing shortages and is working with clients such as Glenbrook, Trafford Housing Trust, Wythenshawe Community Housing, Trafford Hall Hotel, Seddons, Muse and CTL Estates, to name but a few.

AEW managing director Andy Critchlow said: “Colin and his team have made a seamless transition into AEW since joining us and are a perfect fit for our culture and values.
