Hi ho hi ho, it’s off to the Theatre Royal we go

Christmas officially arrived in St Helens when the Theatre Royal open its doors for festive panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The show opened on Saturday 2 December and has already had an incredible response, receiving rave reviews on social media and in the local press.

Snow White will be entertaining audiences right across the holiday season until Sunday, January 14, after producers announced last week they were extending the show’s run due to such overwhelming demand – with an additional five shows now on sale.

Snow White tells the story of the beautiful, kind-hearted girl and the jealous queen who will do anything to be named the fairest in the land instead.

Chantelle Nolan, theatre manager, said: “Since we opened on Saturday we have had an amazing response from the public, everyone seems to be loving it. I honestly think it is our strongest panto yet. There really is something for everyone, the 3-D scene is proving very popular especially with the little ones and there is plenty of laughs for the adults too.

“We have seen such demand this year we decided to extend the run, and have added another five shows between 12-14 Jan, so there is even more opportunity for you to come along.”
