Law firm advises on care home sector deal

Deal agreed

A specialist team at Manchester commercial law firm Kuits has advised care home owner Ruby Chambas-Annan on the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Ridgeview Healthcare.

The transaction forms the latest in a series of deals completed by the firm in the active UK care home sector.

Ridgeview Care Home, based in Enfield, London, was founded by Lewis Tyloo in 2006.

New owner Ruby Chambas-Annan will take on the running of the care home, adding to her existing portfolio, which includes Alpha Residential Care, also based in London.

Kuits’ specialist care home sector team is led by commercial property partner Stephen Lopeman and corporate solicitor Ryan Brown.

Brown said: “Kuits has built up years of experience in advising care and nursing home operators, allowing us to provide bespoke legal and commercial expertise to support our clients in navigating what is, at present, an active and fast-paced market.”

Matthew Scott of Coupe Bradbury Solicitors acted for Tyloo on the sale.
