Stellar success of Boohoo.com continues

Group revenues for Manchester-based fashion retailer Boohoo.com have climbed 100% to £228.2m.

The company reported record performance across all its brands in the four months to December 31.

Hailing a strong balance sheet with net cash of £127m, joint chief executives Mahmud Kamani and Carol Kane issued a statement saying: “We are delighted to report another set of strong financial and operational results, with record sales in the four months to December across all our brands.

“The Black Friday period was our most successful ever and we traded well throughout the period under review. boohoo has continued to perform well, delivering strong revenue growth on increasingly challenging comparatives last year.

“Our focus remains on the customer proposition: offering the best range of the latest fashion at affordable prices, coupled with great customer service.””

PrettyLittleThing has continued to deliver exceptional results with year on year revenue up 191% to £73.8m while turnover for Nasty Gal is £11.9m, increasing month-on-month from start-up in March 2017.

Group revenue for the 10 months to December 31 has also climbed 100% from 491.3m from 241.6m in 2016.
