Stockport-based insurance broker C&C Insurance is joining forces with Superleague netball team Manchester Thunder for the 2018 season.

The company will have its logo on the team dress, receive VIP tickets to home matches and support Thunder’s efforts to develop talented young netballers from across the North West.

Manchester Thunder play their home matches at the Wright Robinson Sports College – a secondary school in Abbey Hey, Gorton in Manchester – and Belle Vue Sports and begin their season on February 10 with a visit to Severn Stars.

C&C was established in 1975, is a fully independent broker providing highly professional, personalised, competitive and bespoke cover for clients nationwide.

Managing director Malcolm Cooke said: “We are really proud to support such an ambitious and passionate Superleague team, who is committed to supporting the development of talented sportspeople across the region.

“It’s always been important to us to support local teams and we see this as a positive partnership. The teams growing fan base in the region and across the country is testament to their success, we are excited for the start of the season and I would like to wish them all the best.”

Manchester Thunder managing director Debbie Hallas added: “We are delighted to have C&C Insurance on board to help build the profile of the franchise to our growing fanbase across Manchester and the North West.

“With the Commonwealth Games, the new Superleague season and next year’s World Cup in the North West, this is an exciting time for netball and we look forward to working with the team at C&C Insurance to showcase their products and solutions to our supporters.”
