Law firm becomes £23m turnover enterprise with new acquisition

Deal done

Metamorph Law, based in Sale, Greater Manchester, has acquired Shropshire practice Terry Jones Solicitors to create a £23m-plus turnover company.

The acquisition strengthens and enhances Metamorph Law’s existing Shrewsbury offering, which currently trades under the Linder Myers brand.

The deal brings additional expertise in the commercial and agricultural sectors, a strong matrimonial, family and childcare team, a well-established crime practice and further residential conveyancing and trust and estates resources, the company said.

It is expected to add revenues of around £5m a year, taking Metamorph’s projected income in 2018 to in excess of £23m.

Metamorph Law’s founder and director of strategySimon Goldhill said: ‘The acquisition of Terry Jones Solicitors adds further depth and quality to our operations and brings some of the leading legal teams in the area into our business.

“It adds a fantastic and respected local brand to our stable and fits perfectly with our strategy to grow as a single business with multiple brands.

“This deal is just the start of our plans for 2018 and we have others in the pipeline. I expect to make further announcements over the next months.”
