Big data firm relocates for expansion

Fast-growing big data solution provider Hello Soda has expanded with a move to new headquarters on Princess Street in Manchester.

The data analytics company has taken the entire 6,202 sq ft space on the top floor of 55 Princess St on a nine-year lease.

Founded in 2013, Hello Soda has experienced rapid year-on-year growth, now providing data analytics software solutions to clients in six continents. A key player in the Manchester technology circle, Hello Soda has moved its headquarters from City Tower to Princess Street to accommodate the anticipated growth of its team.

Rhian Hughes, chief operating officer, Hello Soda said: “While international expansion is a key priority for us, it is vital that we have a positive environment for each of our global offices including our HQ in Manchester. The move will not only facilitate our future growth plans, but the varied breakout and collaborative spaces that we have designed will help to nurture innovation and creativity within our teams. Remaining in Central Manchester has been an important element for us as a member of the Northern Powerhouse, and the incredible views of the Town Hall from the office don’t hurt.”

Andrew Cowell, transactions an asset management, OBI Property said: “It has been great to work with a dynamic business such as Hello Soda and they have a fantastic new office at 55 Princess Street with a great fit out. The buoyant digital tech sector is playing a big role in creating jobs and boosting the economy in Manchester and is great to see Hello Soda’s business accelerating on a global scale.”
