Bespoke Hotels secures deal to operate Chester’s Mill Hotel & Spa

Bespoke Hotels has secured a lease to operate Chester’s Mill Hotel & Spa following its recent sale.

The facility in the centre of the city features 132 en-suite bedrooms alongside floating restaurant L’eau-t Cuisine, a modern bar, meetings and events space, as well as spa and leisure facilities.

Strengthening the group’s North West portfolio, which features the nearby Chester Grosvenor alongside Manchester’s Hotel Gotham, Bespoke has reached agreement with the 30-year-old property on a long-term basis.

Bespoke chief executive Haydn Fentum said: “The opportunity to strengthen our presence both in Chester and the North West of England is an exciting one, given how this market has flourished and become highly significant within our portfolio.”

“It has given me enormous pride to develop the business over the last 30 years,” added Gordon Vickers, founder of The Mill. “I am pleased to have found a suitable home for the hotel which will preserve its atmosphere and culture.”
