Divorce and family law firm opens in Alderley Edge

McAlister Family Law, one of the North West’s fastest growing family law firms, has extended its offering with the opening of an Alderley Edge office.

The firm, which is currently based in Manchester city centre, chose to locate in West Street to offer its services without the need to travel in to the city.

Led by Amanda McAlister the firm boasts a national and international reputation for its work in child and family law.

“We chose this highly desirable location in order to bolster further our presence in the region,” said Ms McAlister.

“We want to be part of the Cheshire community, so we purposefully chose to open our doors in Alderley Edge as the village is well known and is very much seen as the ‘nucleus’ of the county.

“We wanted to avoid being on a featureless business park and instead want to offer a service where our doors are always open for anyone to drop in and see us.

“Divorce and children-related legal matters frequently require discretion and privacy and our Alderley Edge location provides just that.”

Ms McAlister has represented clients, from top restaurateurs, to Premiership footballers and actresses, as well as members of the police force, teachers and civil servants.

She is described by the leading legal directories as “phenomenal” and is the only family lawyer in Cheshire who holds the prestigious status of “eminent practitioner”.

Charlotte Percy and Jake Lawrence Brown are currently working from the Alderley Edge office and will shortly be joined by two new recruits.
