CPM Care acquires care home in Lancashire

Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has completed on the sale of Fairhaven Care Home, in Fleetwood, which commanded an asking price of £745,000.

The three-storey care home, which overlooks the promenade with views of Morecambe Bay to the Cumbrian Hills, is registered for 22 residents with 20 single and two double bedrooms. It also acts as a rehabilitation centre for the local hospital.

The home had been operated for more than 13 years by the previous owners, Mr and Mrs Moss.

They said: “There was a great deal of interest in the business, resulting in many viewings.

“We were able to find a purchaser who we felt would build on the work we have done so far and take our care home to the next level, offering outstanding levels of care.”
